“Red Dot Award,” established by the German Design Association, is recognized as one of the world’s three major design awards, alongside Germany’s “IF Design Award” and the American “IDEA Design Award.” It is one of the most prestigious and influential design competitions globally. It is reported that this year’s Red Dot Award attracted thousands of outstanding entries from over 60 countries worldwide. In the end, only 1% of the entries received the Red Dot Product Design Award.

Best Design Awards
- Tangram-Trace
Manufacturer: Eureka Lighting, Montreal, Canada
The jury emphasized the creative potential of this luminaire: “Tangram-Trace offers multiple design possibilities for interior designers to create a new geometric landscape inside. It is noteworthy that minimalist solutions and dramatic effects can be achieved based on component selection,” the jury said. Another special feature of this luminaire is its ability to exude warmth despite its simple lines, even when entirely black.
- Crystal

“Crystal has successfully created a recessed ceiling luminaire, providing stunning visual comfort at a high level—both in terms of the type of light it emits, which can change the room’s atmosphere through its light reflection, and in terms of the luminaire’s design itself, featuring a framework with reflective functionality. This makes Crystal a truly aesthetic ceiling element,” summarized the jury.
- SHIFTLINE M26 H + SBL

“SHIFTLINE M26 H + SBL stands out as a lighting system that, despite surface mounting on the ceiling, offers a minimalist aesthetic with architectural style,” the jury said. “In addition, its manufacturing precision even evokes thoughts of a clockwork device. Aesthetically beautiful, the understated design combined with the high flexibility of the magnetic shift line contours opens up countless lighting possibilities for every imaginable room scenario. Therefore, the linear lighting system is suitable for private homes as well as office environments, retail, or dining, bringing subtle elegance that the manufacturer pursues in its luminaire design.”
